Home Automation is the interdisciplinary science that consists in the study of technologies applied to improve the quality of life inside the house and more in general in anthropic environments. The term “home automation” takes its origins from latin “domus” which means “home”.

This highly interdisciplinary area requires the knowledge of many technologies and professionality, such as building engineering, automation, electrotechnical, electronics, telecommunications and information technology.
